What does Sunday morning look like at fcc?

Visiting a church can be intimidating!  We understand the many thoughts that can come from a being a first-time guest, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.  Below are some frequently asked questions answered based on what you will find at FCC Evansville.  If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us or stop by the Welcome Center in the foyer on Sunday morning.

When are your worship gatherings?

Our worship gatherings, or services, are held in our Family Life Center on Sunday mornings at 8:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  We do not label our style as traditional or contemporary but offer an experience that is Christ-centered and culturally relevant.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable!  After all, we are thrilled that you are joining us and want you to be focused on the message we are presenting rather than the clothes you are wearing.  In our church you will see shorts, ties, flip-flops, jeans and wing-tips.  We're not too concerned with what you are wearing, we just want you here with us!

Where should I park?

You may park in any available spot; there is no reserved parking.  During busier times, between Sunday School and our 10:30 Worship, it does get a bit congested but we encourage you to have patience and space will open up.  We do have "Guest Parking" spaces located in the parking row closest to the church building.

Where do my kids go?

Our FCC Kids Ministry is the perfect place for your children, infants through 5th grade, on Sunday while you attend worship with us in the Family Life Center.  If you would like your children to attend FCC Kids on Sunday morning, visit the their check-in that is just outside the Children's Wing.  We have signs to direct you and greeters to assist you if you have trouble finding it.  There your children will be checked into our security system and you will be given a pick-up tag for when you return to pick them up.  You child will not be released to an unauthorized person.

Am I expected to give?

If you are a guest with us, please do not feel as though you are obligated to give.  However, we also do not want to discourage you from giving.  We are exited that you are with us and we are not concerned with whether or not you have placed money in the plate.
